With this momentum I wanted to challenge myself to go 2 hours run or walking. I went out thinking I was going to walk those two miles. I ended up running most of it. Slow and steady, I had my first long run. I have done one 10k earlier in the season and had to walk the last mile. Basically the longest was a 5 mile run. Today I successfully ran 8.16. I couldn’t be more thrilled. My IT bands started to act up so walked for a good 10 mins in mile 7. To save myself from getting a injury, I would rather walk.
